Marcy

Receptionist

Marcy joined the clinic in 2016. She is passionate about animals, especially dogs, and is fascinated by canine behavior and the bond between man and dog. She also dreams of someday owning a small animal shelter. Marcy is the social media master behind our Facebook page and our news. Marcy makes mixed media art in her free time, enjoys collecting coins, key chains, crafty embellishments, and house plants, and loves the outdoors.

Jenny

Receptionist

I joined the receptionist team in March of 2022. I have 2 cats, Reggie and Kora, who are 12 years old and 5 years old respectively. I also have a daughter, Marisa, and a wonderful husband, Dan. I spend most of my summer, if not all, in different states at softball fields. I spend my winters also watching indoor softball. As you can see, not only my daughter but my family means everything to me. I took a chance on starting a new career path with veterinary medicine and realized that it’s exactly where I want to be.

Marlene

Receptionist

While a student at SUNY Cortland, Marlene was employed by a senior living community as a personal care aide. Working with seniors soon became a lifelong passion. Currently Marlene splits her workweek between Empower Parkinson Inc. and Cicero Animal Clinic, P.C. Like most of our employees she had a variety of pets and her three boxers were patients here for 14 years before she joined our team as a part time receptionist. Marlene is an active volunteer with Sunshine Horses and spends much of her own time riding her own horse.

Gillian

Receptionist

I joined the reception team in December of 2024. I have always loved animals, and my two loving cats, Cola and Podrick, helped me realize I wanted to make the transition from the music world to veterinary care. I went to college for Flute Performance at the Crane School of Music, and I still enjoy playing in my spare time. I also love to spend time with my family, going camping, and playing video games!

Rachel

Receptionist

I joined the CAC team in late 2024. I have always had a passion for all types of animals since I was a little girl. Scales, feathers, or fur, I love them all. I graduated from Onondaga Community College with an associate’s degree in 2017. I currently have one dog named Phoebe Duchess Buffay. She is my world, and my husband and I love spending our time with her, cuddling, taking naps, playing, and going for walks. I always knew I wanted to work with animals in some capacity. My favorite part of working in reception is getting to greet all of our clients and seeing their excited pets’ faces and happy tails walking into the clinic.
