As a “Mom” of 8 cats, I am frequently visiting the Cicero Animal Clinic, P.C. Although my primary veterinarian is Dr. Gilbraith; I have, on occasion, seen the other veterinarians. They are all extremely competent, kind, and caring. You are allowed to be an integral part of your pet’s health care and your decisions are respected and supported. If there is a situation that calls for going “above and beyond”, they are all willing to do that and more.
The veterinary technicians are very skilled and professional and the front desk staff is always friendly and accommodating.
I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for pet health care. You can be assured that you and your pet will get “top shelf” treatment!

I could go on and on about the services and care we have received for all of our pets! We have had to have two dogs euthanized since we started going here and I can’t even begin to say how understanding everyone was each time! It is a tough thing to do, especially when they are treated like one of the family. We have also had two dogs that needed surgery other than neutering. The first one, Oliver, had to have a tumor removed and a drain put in. I brought him home that night after surgery and was so worried about him all night and the next morning. He couldn’t even walk the next morning, didn’t want to eat or drink, and wouldn’t go to the bathroom. I called and talked to Dr. Gilbraith and she met me at the office first, helped me get him out of the van, and assured me everything would be fine. I couldn’t believe when I got there after I got out of work at 4:00 and he came walking out of the back as if nothing ever happened! The staff gave him physical therapy and the extra care he needed that day! Then there is Toby; when we rescued him he wasn’t neutered and also needed entropion surgery. Then he got into a toxin and became violently ill. Since then he hasn’t cared too much about going to the vet. He tends to be a little grumpy. However, the vets and staff are so understanding about this and haven’t given up on him. As a matter of fact, they go above and beyond to make his visits go as smoothly as possible. They get right down on the floor with him at his level so he doesn’t feel threatened to examine him. This makes him feel a little more at ease. It makes me feel a little more at ease as well. Seeing how they interact with him helps me to relax so much that Toby doesn’t sense my nervousness and increase his nervousness. Then there is our cat Allis who is somewhat feral. Since we took her in she has had to have two surgeries. One was for an abscess and this latest one was for a laceration to her hind leg. I worried both times I had to take her in that she wouldn’t be nice to them and called a couple of times while she was there to ask them if they needed me to come pick her up early. In my mind, I didn’t think they would want to keep her there and it would be an inconvenience to them. But once again they assured me everything was just fine! They even did extra things to make her comfortable so she could cope with her stay there. As you can see, I really could go on and on about how wonderful the vets and staff are at Cicero Animal Clinic, P.C. I have had nothing but positive experiences here! I highly recommend them!

I have been going to Dr. Gilbraith’s office for 13 years. The care my dogs have received is exceptional. She goes the extra step to take the time for your questions and you never feel rushed. She will also call you with test results so at that time if you have questions they can be answered. She is up to date on all of the new technology and her staff is professional and courteous. Dr. Gilbraith is currently treating my 15-year-old dog “Sasha” who has been having health issues and I truly believe I still have her because of the care and compassion she has provided for her.
I highly recommend this office.
