The Veterinary Assistant is the right hand to the Veterinary Technician and Doctor. They spend their days assisting during examinations, setting up for and helping during surgery and treatments, educating our clients and caring for your pets. Keith
Facilities Manager, Veterinary Assistant
When Keith is not responsible for the upkeep of our facilities and our beautiful landscaping, he is working on the floor as a veterinary assistant. Keith enjoys falconry, training for triathlons and outdoor activities.
Erin
Veterinary Assistant
Erin has been with the clinic since 2013 and came with previous veterinary experience. Her constant positive attitude and cheerfulness is a joy for both staff and clients and she has a special interest in preventative care. She loves spending time with her grumpy Great Dane and loves horses.
Meghanne
Veterinary Assistant
Meghanne joined us in October 2018 as a Veterinary Assistant with 5 years of experience in the field. She graduated from Onondaga Community College with a degree in Liberal Arts and plans to pursue her license online at San Juan College to become a Veterinary Technician. Meghanne has a household of rescued furry family members and enjoys spending time with them and her horses and she has a passion for helping all animals.
Alex
Veterinary Assistant
Alex comes to us with an array of different experiences from grooming, kennel management, and now as a vet assistant in our clinic. When she isn’t at work or grooming she enjoys coming home to her Border collie Atlas and her Australian collie Asher. She hopes to learn as much from our practice as possible and to continue education to becoming a veterinarian technician someday. Aside from that she also has passion for exotic animals as well and has experience with rabbits, birds, and sugar gliders of her own.
Sarah
Veterinary Assistant
Sarah joined the clinic in 2022 and like so many of the staff, grew up with a variety of rescue animals. This May she will graduating with a bachelors in conservation biology and is to further veterinary career by attending vet tech school. At home, Sarah enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with her two cats and two chinchillas!
Nick
Veterinary Assistant
Nick grew up near the Albany Pine Bush where he developed a love for the environment and animals of all sorts. He graduated with a degree in Zoology in 2020 and later took part in a veterinary assistant program online. In his free time, Nick likes to read, look for birds, and spend time with his cats. He is very excited to be able to help!
